From the south via Inverness
- From Inverness, follow the A9 north, then take the A835 west via Ullapool to Ledmore Junction.
- At Ledmore Junction, turn left onto the A837 towards Lochinver.
- Just before Lochinver, turn right onto the B869.
- After approximately 1.5 miles, turn left at the junction signposted Achmelvich.
- Continue for approximately 1 mile. The Captains is on your right.
- Open the wooden gate and park beside the apartment.
From the north via Clachtoll
- After Clachtoll, continue south on the B869 until you reach the Achmelvich junction on your right.
- Turn right towards Achmelvich and continue for approximately 1 mile. The Captains is on your right.
- Open the wooden gate and park beside the apartment.
